Agreement to Terms

By downloading, accessing, or using NeoBump ("the App," "the Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you do not agree to these Terms, do not use the Service.

These Terms constitute a legally binding agreement between you and NeoBump, operated by Dr. Yahya MS, FWACS ("we," "us," "our").

Description of Service

NeoBump is a mobile application designed to provide information, emotional support, and community connection for individuals experiencing pregnancy after a previous pregnancy loss.

The Service includes:

• Week-by-week pregnancy guidance tailored to pregnancy after loss
• Symptom tracking with educational triage information
• AI-powered chat for pregnancy-related questions
• Private journaling features
• Community forum for peer support
• Partner sharing capabilities (optional)

IMPORTANT MEDICAL DISCLAIMER

NeoBump is NOT a medical service. It does NOT provide medical advice, diagnosis, or treatment.

The information provided through NeoBump—including symptom triage suggestions, AI chat responses, educational content, and community discussions—is for informational and emotional support purposes only.

You must understand and agree that:

1. NeoBump does not replace your doctor, midwife, or healthcare provider. Always consult qualified healthcare professionals for medical concerns.
2. Symptom triage is educational, not diagnostic. When our symptom tracker suggests whether something is "normal" or "concerning," this is general educational information based on common medical knowledge. It is NOT a diagnosis of your specific situation.
3. AI chat is not a real doctor. The "Ask Dr. Yahya" feature uses artificial intelligence trained on medical knowledge. It provides general information, not personalized medical advice for your unique circumstances.
4. In a medical emergency, contact emergency services immediately. Do not rely on NeoBump for emergency medical guidance.
5. Your healthcare decisions are your responsibility. We provide information to support your journey, but all decisions about your health and pregnancy must be made by you in consultation with your healthcare providers.
6. Community content is peer support, not medical advice. Posts and comments from other users reflect their personal experiences and opinions, not medical recommendations.

Eligibility

To use NeoBump, you must:

• Be at least 18 years of age
• Have the legal capacity to enter into a binding agreement
• Not be prohibited from using the Service under applicable law

Account Registration

Creating an Account

To access certain features, you must create an account by providing accurate and complete information. You agree to:

• Provide truthful information during registration
• Keep your account credentials confidential
• Notify us immediately of any unauthorized access to your account
• Accept responsibility for all activity under your account

Subscription and Payments

Free and Premium Tiers

NeoBump offers both free and premium subscription options.

Free Tier includes: Basic symptom tracking and triage, limited AI chat messages (3 per week), limited journal entries (5 per month), read-only community access, crisis resources.

Premium Subscription includes: Unlimited AI chat, unlimited journal entries, full community access (post and comment), advanced symptom tracking and reports, partner sharing feature, priority features.

Subscription Pricing

• Monthly: $9.99 USD per month
• Annual: $99.99 USD per year (equivalent to $6.67/month)

Prices may vary by region and are subject to change.

Free Trial

Premium subscriptions include a 14-day free trial for new users. You will not be charged during the trial period. If you do not cancel before the trial ends, your subscription will automatically begin.

Cancellation

You may cancel your subscription at any time through your device's app store settings. Cancellation takes effect at the end of your current billing period.

User Conduct

Acceptable Use

You agree to use NeoBump only for lawful purposes and in accordance with these Terms. You will treat other community members with respect and compassion.

Prohibited Conduct

You agree NOT to:

• Harass, bully, threaten, or intimidate other users
• Post content that is hateful, discriminatory, or promotes violence
• Share sexually explicit or inappropriate content
• Encourage self-harm or provide methods for self-harm
• Impersonate any person or entity
• Provide medical advice that contradicts professional medical guidance
• Share unverified medical information as fact
• Attempt to access other users' accounts or data
• Use automated systems to access the Service
• Use the Service for advertising or commercial solicitation

Intellectual Property

Our Content

The Service and its original content, features, and functionality are owned by NeoBump and are protected by copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws.

Your Content

You retain ownership of content you create (journal entries, community posts, etc.). By posting content to the community, you grant us a non-exclusive, royalty-free license to display that content within the Service.

Privacy

Your privacy is important to us. Our collection and use of personal information is governed by our Privacy Policy, which is incorporated into these Terms by reference.

Disclaimers

"As Is" Basis

THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EITHER EXPRESS OR IMPLIED.

We do not warrant that:

• The Service will be uninterrupted, secure, or error-free
• Results from the Service will be accurate or reliable
• The Service will meet your specific requirements

Limitation of Liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, NEOBUMP AND ITS OPERATORS, EMPLOYEES, AND AFFILIATES SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR:

• Any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages
• Any loss of profits, data, use, goodwill, or other intangible losses
• Medical decisions made based on information from the Service

IN NO EVENT SHALL OUR TOTAL LIABILITY EXCEED THE AMOUNT YOU PAID US IN THE TWELVE (12) MONTHS PRECEDING THE CLAIM, OR $100 USD, WHICHEVER IS GREATER.

Dispute Resolution

Informal Resolution

Before filing any formal dispute, you agree to contact us at support@neobump.app and attempt to resolve the dispute informally for at least 30 days.

Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Federal Republic of Nigeria, without regard to conflict of law principles.

Changes to Terms

We may modify these Terms at any time. When we make material changes, we will update the "Last Updated" date and notify you via email or in-app notification.

Termination

You may terminate your account at any time by deleting your account in Settings or contacting us at support@neobump.app.

We may suspend or terminate your account at any time for violation of these Terms or for any other reason at our discretion.
